Details
Joe graduated from Sheffield Dental School with honours. Joe initially worked in head and neck surgery departments in the Greater Manchester area, caring for sick patients with a wide range of complex medical needs. He then worked at the University Dental Hospital of Manchester alongside consultants and specialists in restorative dentistry. This has developed his skills in more complex Root Canal Treatments, Dentures, Crowns, Bridges, Restoration of Implants, and problems of the jaw joint (TMD).
Joe provides the full range of routine general dental care and cosmetic treatments. His postgraduate training has been focused largely on prosthodontics (crowns and bridges, dentures, and implants) and periodontics (gum diseases). He is a member of the British Society for Occlusal Studies.
Outside of work Joe enjoys walking around the Rossendale valley with his Labradoodle, Sam (named after Samwise Gamgee from The Lord of the Rings!). He is an avid reader and cook and keeps the Standish Street team well fed with his baking - low sugar of course!
