Fozia Hameed studied at Manchester University graduating as a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 1999.
Fozia is a very caring, gentle dentist with 21 years' experience, 19 of which have been working in private practice. She has also gained membership of the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh through extra study and examinations. Fozia's calm, relaxed and caring manner means that she is the perfect choice for patients who are of a nervous disposition. Over the years she has helped many people overcome their fears and become confident regular attenders.
Her dental interests lie in advanced restorative dentistry for which she completed a post graduate certificate in Manchester with a renowned specialist. She is keen to be able to create the most aesthetic smiles with minimally invasive techniques. She believes that orthodontics allows the creation of beautiful smiles sometimes without the need for invasive techniques such as crowns or veneers. She can provide short term orthodontics and is also a registered provider of the 'Six Month Smiles' braces.
She is currently studying for a Master's Degree in Orthodontics to further her knowledge in this field.
Outside of dentistry, Fozia has recently taken up cycling. She enjoys the outdoors with her family. Any time she may have left is then taken up and her three children (triplets), that keep her busy day and night!
