19th July & Covid Rules

What to expect from the 19th July
There is a good deal to be upbeat and excited about at the moment as Boris plans to let us loose on society in July and we keep our fingers crossed for this weekend's football match.
We wanted to give you a little update about what can be expected in the coming weeks and months at the practice.
Early on we were given a thorough guidance document on what we had to implement to stay open and offer a safe service to our patients during the pandemic. Unfortunately, as wider society opens up and as mask wearing and social distancing becomes a thing of the past, this is not mirrored for healthcare providers.
From the 19th of July, as healthcare providers, we will have to continue the Covid-secure service you have become accustomed to for the foreseeable future:
We cannot thank you enough for doing everything we have asked of you during the pandemic before, during and after your appointments at the practice.
We are really keen to get back to "normal" in the way we welcome you and treat you in practice however as always, we have to follow the instruction of our governing bodies or face the consequences.
If we all keep our fingers crossed the powers that be will hopefully implement changes soon meaning we can greet each other with a smile, sit next to each other in the waiting room and that the PPE dressing up box can be packed away in the loft for future fancy dress parties.
Please be patient with us as we move through the next few weeks.
With thanks and kind regards
Usman, Fozia and the Standish Street Team
