Composite Veneers
What are they?
As dentistry has advanced, the latest tooth coloured filling materials can now be used directly on teeth, just like Porcelain veneers. Whereas porcelain veneers need the tooth reshaping, composite veneers are less destructive to the tooth and can be placed directly on to the tooth in one visit.

Procedure
- A rubber sheet known as a rubber dam is placed on the teeth. This increases comfort for the patient and allows the dentist to work in a dry environment. The teeth are then smoothed, composite is placed and cured with an ultra violet light gradually building up the composite in layers until the desired shape and shade is achieved at which point precision polishing completes the procedure.
Result
The teeth are reshaped to give improved appearance and balance with a high lustre polish, to give the teeth a shiny and glossy perfectly natural appearance.
