Referrals
We are currently accepting referrals for Advanced Restorative Treatments, Dental Implants, Private Orthodontics and acial Rejuvenation.
To make a referral you may either fill in the online referral form, telephone the practice on 01282 415543 or send a referral letter with relevant radiographs to the practice.
Upon receipt of the referral we will contact the patient and make the relevant arrangements.
Dental Implants
Dental Implants are offered under the expert guidance of Professor Cemal Ucer. Both John and Chris have worked and studied with Cemal since 1996. John also works with Cemal mentoring his students in the surgical and restorative clinical aspects of implant treatment at his MSc course. The preferred implant system utilised is generally Straumann, occasionally other systems are used but the final decision is made by Dr Ucer. Cemal attends the practice as visiting consultant on a regular basis. The restoration phase of implants can be undertaken by Chris Wood or John Hyde. Chris and John are both experienced in restoring implants, especially when in combination with advanced restorative procedures. A surgical microscope is available for improved visibility.
Private Orthodontic Referrals
Private Orthodontics has been on offer at the practice since April 2007 when Stephen Ward joined the team. Stephen is a Consultant Orthodontist who also has clinics in the Burnley and Blackburn hospital Orthodontic Departments. Upon referral, your patients would be cared for solely by Stephen who offers the whole range of appliances from standard fixed orthodontics to the more advanced Invisalign, Clear Step and lingual orthodontics. Facial Rejuvenation Referrals
Facial Rejuvenation Non-surgical facial aesthetic treatments can complement dental procedures, facilitating dental and facial harmony. Dr Monder Zbaeda is an accredited practitioner and is experienced in performing treatments such as non-surgical facial augmentation, administration of botulinium toxin and chemical skin peels. Monder is collaborating with the Independent Health Services Authority to draw up guidelines for the regulation of cosmetic procedures prescribed in the UK. His philosophy is to provide conservative methodology to gradually achieve a softened appearance with the use of the clinically indicated treatments.
